The Asian Journal of Intercultural Communication and Development Cooperation is an international, online. double-blind, peer reviewed journal published by the Research Center of Communication and Development Knowledge Management (CCDKM) in conjunction with the Sukothai Tammathirat Open University (STOU) of Thailand.
The JICDC offers its readers two categories of information. The first and core content is a range of peer-reviewed articles from researchers in the international community, while the second offers a window into the latest international conferences and reviews of related sources of information along with guest articles,special features and case studies.It is published in English and Thai (with English abstracts).
The Aims of JICDC
The Asian Journal of Intercultural Communication and Development Cooperation aims at establishing a broad interdisciplinary platform for international studies on the inter- relateness of communication and development that brings together researchers and activists to identfy and share creative experiences and models for cooperation.
JICDC has the objective of stimulating research on both the theory and practice of communication promoting local. regional and global sustainable development. Moreover JICDC supports advocacy processes, improvement in practices, and encourages innovative and critical grass -root initiatives for partnership building aiming at promoting social progress.The journal intends to offer readers relevant theoretical discussions and act as a catalyst for expending the knowledge base of new and alternative communication platforms and educational projects for social inclusion and democratic interaction
